Subscriptions

Monster Compendium offers optional subscriptions that unlock premium features. Purchases are processed by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS) and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

Device-Bound Access

Because the app has no user accounts or authentication, premium status is stored locally on your device. There is no built-in cross-device sync.

• Uninstalling the app removes local premium status. You will lose access to premium features on that device.
• Google Play and the App Store can automatically restore an active subscription when you reinstall the app — including on a different device using the same store account. If the store detects a valid subscription, that device may become premium as well. This is a store feature outside the app's control and is not guaranteed.
• To trigger a restore manually, use the "Restore Purchases" option in the app's settings after reinstalling.

Billing and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. All billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund requests are handled exclusively by Google Play or the App Store. Monster Compendium does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds.

Open-Source License (GPL 3.0)

The Monster Compendium source code is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0. Key points:

• You are free to use, study, and distribute the software.
• Any distributed copy or derivative work must also be licensed under GPL 3.0 and must include the corresponding source code.
• No additional restrictions may be imposed that limit the rights granted by the license.

The GPL 3.0 license applies to the software itself and does not grant any rights to in-app content, assets, or subscription features.
